Title: Lifeguard Homecare Registered nurse - public and community health  

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Part Time, Shift, Weekend, Day, Night, Evening

Salary: $26.00 to $30.00 Hourly for 1 hours per week

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Brantford & Surrounding Area, Ontario (2 vacancies ) 

Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work, Licensure as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse by the province of work, CPR certification


Experience: Experience an asset


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Home care and visiting care agency, Home for the aged, Nursing or convalescent home


Area of Specialization: Home care, Palliative care


Specific Skills: Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions, Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician, Monitor, assess, address, document and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions


Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing
